Praline Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar 
  • 4 tbsp butter 
  • ½ cup half & half 
  • ½ cup chopped Newberry Pecans 
  • 1½ tsp vanilla extract 
  • pinch of salt

Directions

  1. In a medium sized pot, bring butter, brown sugar, and half & half together to a boil over medium-low heat, stirring constantly
  2. Allow the mixture to boil for 3-4 minutes or until the sauce has thickened, 5-7 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to low and add in the salt, vanilla extract, and chopped Newberry Pecans and cook one minute.
  4. Remove from heat and cool completely.
  5. Store in the refrigerator.
  6. Serve over ice cream or pound cake.
