Cinnamon Maple Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Newberry Pecan halves
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • ½  - 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
  4. Arrange pecan halves on the cookie sheet in a single layer, being careful not to overlap them
  5. Bake 10 minutes, and then stir.
  6. Bake an additional 10 minutes.  Bake another 5 minutes if more browning is needed.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes, and then stir to loosen individual pieces.
  8. Store in airtight containers.
