Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup butter 
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust 
  • 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips 
  • 3 eggs 
  • ⅔ cup white sugar 
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup light corn syrup 
  • 1 cup Newberry Pecan halves

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate chips in a small saucepan.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, add eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and corn syrup. 
  4. Beat with mixer until well blended. 
  5. Add to butter and chocolate chip egg mixture. 
  6. Blend until incorporated. 
  7. Stir in pecans. 
  8. Pour mixture into pie shell.
  9. Bake until set, 50 to 60 minutes. 
  10. Cool.
